Fender Stratocaster Rosewood Slab Board 1961

This is an older Body Only Refinish in Red. Looks like Fiesta Red.  Serial No. 67257

It has a good quality body only refinish possibly around the early 1970’s. Best we have seen!

The Neck (Slab Board) was not refinished and is all original Dated: 10-61

There is only some minor checking and minor Buckle Rash, not thro’ the finish

It has remained in its case most of its life, and has 2 marks on rear of neck caused by a case or/and stand

The Pickguard assembly is all original, only 2 joints touched to remove guard for the refinish. No cracks!

Pots: 1961 Week 34. All Untouched parts and coils that are wound with Formvar. Knobs, Jack Socket, Switch - All Good!

The board and frets are excellent, just minor rutting to 4-5 lower fret wire.

As this guitar has had an easy life, the bridge assembly is also in excellent condition. 3 Clamping holes were found

A very ‘As Good As It Gets’ Example. This is a £35K Guitar without the refinish!

Plays Perfect with Great Low Action. Superb Looker Too!   Has a very good Hard non Original Case
